At the international round table „Human security and trust in institutions“, which will take place on September 23rd in Podgorica, findings from the most recent research conducted by SeConS will be presented.

Olivera Vuković, the executive director of SeConS, will present findings of a regional study conducted within the Cross-Border Network for Peace, Inter-Communal Reconciliation, and Human Security initiative. This study reveals to what extent institutions in the Western Balkans region and Turkey are able to perform their functions effectively and provide security and prosperity to their citizens. The results also show to what extent people in the region trust the institutions and how much levels of trust differ between the countries in the region.

Findings of the study „Informal practices of capturing economic resources by political elite: Exploring party patronage in Kosovo and Sebia“ will be presented by Marija Babović, the director of programme of SeConS.
