Evaluation of the programme “Towards the end of child marriages in Serbia”
The evaluation of the UNICEF programme “Towards the end of child marriages in Serbia” (2018-2020) is underway. The main purpose of this evaluation is to determine the extent to which the adopted strategies, approaches and activities applied during the three-year implementation of the programme, laid the foundations for promoting and expanding a comprehensive response to a number of different factors influencing the survival of child marriage in Roma settlements in Serbia.

An online course on social inclusion

National Report on Gender Equality Index for Serbia
SeConS is currently working on development of the National Report on Gender Equality Index for Serbia Women and Men, that will give more visibility to areas that need improvement and support policy makers to design more effective gender equality measures. Collection of all the necessary data and calculation of the Gender Equality Index will be done based on indicators agreed with the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) in cooperation with Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. National Report on Gender Equality Index will include calculation and analysis of index in six core domains: work, money, knowledge, time, power and health.

Strengthening resilience of older persons and persons with disabilities during COVID-19 and future disasters
The project “Strengthening resilience of older persons and persons with disabilities during COVID-19 and future disasters” is a three year initiative in the region of the Western Balkans, coordinated by the Red Cross of Serbia and supported by the European Union, Austrian Development Agency and Austrian Red Cross. Started in late 2020, it connects civil society partners from Western Balkans and large civil society networks representing older persons and persons with disabilities at the level of European Union.

Policy making and analysis
SeConS Development Initiative Group is involved in the Erasmus + public policy making and analysis project, through which interdisciplinary local short-cycle programmes/modules for public policy at universities in Serbia are designed and implemented, including curriculum development, capacity building for universities and other stakeholders in the public, expert and private sectors.
